It's really much the same she has another dream and now her cards are rendered useless because it's basically telling us that since this road to her turning to Sakura cards are over now she has to start over with collecting other cards. Now we're here with the sequel and I think people put too much high expectations on it. The characters were fun the characters rememberable the story of her just collecting on the cards are just fun and each situation was different it was a great serious. For me who has grown up with the series I actually really did enjoy the both the anime and the manga and honestly I probably prefer the anime over the manga because of all the filler and all the extra melipat the head of the characters. I think at this day and age a lot of people seem to have high expectations on a lot of manga these days and I feel like Cardcaptor says no different.
